LOK LOK located at New World Park, Penang, one of the traditional skewered fresh food dipped into boiling water or serve with sauces. The unique thing is, instead of just normal plain water with of course ajinomoto, the food is being dipped into various soup like tomyam, herbal and spinach too. Upon reaching to the shop, we were being notified that all the food will be skewered only when there is a new order or request. Therefore, the guranteed of “freshness” is always there in the shop. Besides that providing a variety of soup, they do come with 2 type of noodle, dry and soup to consume along with the loklok.
Not to forget, they have their special own six types of sauces to go with their cuisine. This concept has started by Kyle Bong and Jo Koo whom commented :
“with this new concept, diners are able to enjoy the joy of loklok and the taste of steamboat at the same time”
